Go slowly and peel back holding the film against the skin rather than straight up and away from the body. I never got a third saniderm and this was day 3 about 12 hours away from day 4 and it was completely done with discharging and the saniderm had started to. It leaves a horrid scar. I took it off today to wash it and there was almost no pain at all and my swelling is nowhere near as bad as the first session. Once the adhesive loosens, it may allow.
Go the idiot proof way here guys and gals, buy some foaming tattoo soap, 1 hour after tattoo wash your hands with the soap first then wash your wound/art with your hands using the soap. Picking at scabs or scratching them can pull the color out and ruin the tattoo. If that doesn’t work, take a small amount of sanibalm (coconut, olive, or baby oil can work as well) and apply it around the edges of the bandage.
Schedule every 1 months every. Be very gentle with the scabs. In cases like this, try removing the saniderm in a warm shower.
For best results, ensure that the skin is in a neutral position. Place your hand on the edge of the tattoo nearest to where you will first remove the saniderm and gently press down. It may also be more likely to snap at people and other animals, so providing a quiet, isolated space where your cat can rest is very important.
